This privacy policy (“Policy”) describes how the personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) you may provide in the “YFC” mobile application (“Mobile Application” or “Service”) and any of its related products and services (collectively, “Services”) is collected, protected and used. It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your Personal Information and how you can access and update this information. This Policy is a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you” or “your”) and YourFitness.Coach (“YourFitness.Coach”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing and using the Mobile Application and Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy. This Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to individuals that we do not employ or manage.
1. Automatic collection of information
When you use the Mobile Application, our servers automatically record information that your device sends. This data may include:
Device IP address & coarse location
Device name & OS version
Language preferences
Search queries, access times/dates, usage statistics
Information collected automatically is used only to identify potential abuse and compile aggregate usage statistics. No such statistical information identifies you personally.
2. Collection of personal information
You can use most features without identifying yourself. If you choose to register or use certain features, we collect only what you knowingly provide when you create an account, make a purchase, or fill an online form, including:
Personal details: name, country of residence, etc.
Contact info: email address, mailing address, etc.
Account credentials: username, unique ID, password.
Geolocation: GPS latitude/longitude.
Device features (with permission): contacts, calendar, photos, etc.
We may also obtain Personal Information from third-party sources (public databases, social media, data providers) for purposes such as demographics or behavioral analytics.
3. Health & Fitness Data Disclosure
We collect and use the following health/activity data:

5. Purpose & usage
For each data type, we use it to:
Personalize workout plans & leaderboards
Provide in-app screens (activity feed, session logs)
Background sync & reminders
Analytics & marketing
Security (fraud detection)
Customer support
6. Storage & retention
Where stored: on-device, Firebase, our AWS servers
Retention period: kept indefinitely unless you request deletion
7. Sharing & third parties
Shared with: Firebase, Spike, AWS
Purpose: sync to external services, analytics (no advertising)
Data Processing Agreements: available from each provider’s privacy policy
8. User controls & consent
Grant/revoke access: through in-app permissions & “disconnect fitness device” feature
Opt-out settings: disable data collection by disconnecting fitness devices
9. Security & compliance
Encryption: in transit (TLS) and at rest
Access controls: restricted to database admins, senior management, CTO
Certifications: GDPR compliance; we incorporate EEA data protection clauses
Changes and amendments
We reserve the right to modify this Policy or its terms relating to the Mobile Application and Services from time to time in our discretion and will notify you of any material changes to the way in which we treat Personal Information. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We may also provide notice to you in other ways in our discretion, such as through contact information you have provided. Any updated version of this Policy will be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised Policy unless otherwise specified. Your continued use of the Mobile Application and Services after the effective date of the revised Policy (or such other act specified at that time) will constitute your consent to those changes. However, we will not, without your consent, use your Personal Information in a manner materially different than what was stated at the time your Personal Information was collected
Acceptance of this policy
You acknowledge that you have read this Policy and agree to all its terms and conditions. By accessing and using the Mobile Application and Services you agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree to abide by the terms of this Policy, you are not authorized to access or use the Mobile Application and Services.
